Through my various roles, I’ve learned that in addition to design, I excel at facilitating strategic and productive conversations across functions, and motivating my teams to do great work. As much as I enjoy strategizing and planning, I also love hands on design and production work. My favorite roles have always been those that strive to have a positive impact on the world, with a healthy dose of design challenge built in. Teach a language through animated videos with only one speaking character and a beeping robot? OK! Come up with a framework of interconnected yet modular games to teach chemistry? Let’s do it! Help commuters hail a taxi? I’m in!
When I’m not working, I spend my time with my husband and 2 kids along with our 2 dogs and 6 2 fish in Brooklyn, NY. I filled my science requirements in undergrad with horticulture and botany courses and I spend way more time than I probably should growing and propagating plants. I also love making dumplings (I’ve perfected a chicken curry variety) and am learning Spanish to keep up with the rest of the family.
